Happy Lammas my loves
Today is the first harvest and the sun’s energy on the fields and on our faces is strong. It is a beautiful time of year to focus on our strengths, our gifts and gratitudes. All of these are so good for our mental and emotional health and therefore our sobriety.
Thank you for supporting my work by being a paying subscriber - it means such a lot and helps me continue to do the work I do in the sobersphere. It also means the world that we are part of a positive, caring sober community. I felt so lonely towards the end of the drinking days and ironically felt my social life was about to end. Instead I found the best community. There is something about sober people you just can’t beat - the fact that we’ve been there, grappled, worked our butts off and then the knowing wink of, yep the magic happened!
So WELL DONE, WELL DONE you sober legends.
